Anaïs: An International Journal was the brainchild of Anaïs Nin’s literary agent and editor, Gunther Stuhlmann. Established in 1983, and only with the aim of publishing one issue, it persisted an amazing 19 years before Mr. Stuhlmann’s death in 2002.
The journal included never-before published excerpts from Nin’s diary, as well as works from her contemporaries and scholars. It was, and remains, the focal point for worldwide Nin studies and is a must in any serious Nin reader’s library.
Back issues of Anaïs: An International Journal are still available.
